Experimental setup for the thermophotovoltaic efficiency calibration. The graphite emitter is heated by Joule heating. The cell sits under a baffle, to minimize any stray photons reaching the cell. The wire bonds are made separately, to the top and bottom electrodes, for electrons and holes respectively. The cell is cooled to a standard temperature, 25 °C. Current (I) and voltage are measured by wire-bonding the cell to electrical pads
